that's obviously not the same guy. the first one doesn't have a beard or tattoos. idiots. -
What difference does that make? Ross has never had a WAR over 1.9 in his career, and he's only touched 1.0 a few times. Most folks here were hoping he would retire before last season was even over. Yeah, Miggy has sucked this year, but we're talking about a small sample size. He has a much better offensive track record than Ross. 1.4 wins over replacement-level.

I know wins are a dumb pitcher stat, but I didn't realize 4 guys already had at least 7. Damn.

this team is so awesome. we have so many guys that can play so many positions (and play them well) that we just say horsefeathers it and add a young stud to a catching core that has a guy who graduated high school before most of these guys started kindergarten and a guy who doesn't have a back. It's amazing how many of these promotions are becoming "just fit in and find yourself" rather than "we really need you to excel or we're screwed"
