  1. Z scores from first on a double by Walker!
  2. It hit him partially in the back of the head (and the helmet). He grabbed his head as he was going down. They ran him through a battery of tests to make sure he was still coherent then took him off. Big Z is pinch running. LOL It was scary.
  3. OMG, Greenberg got hit in the head!
  4. Great job Kerry! He leaves with the chance to win. :D They better not blow this with the tying run at the plate.
  5. Depending on the pitch count, I would let him try to finish. It would build confidence but Dempster would be ready in the 'pen.
  6. Not to mention he blew the hold. He's having an up and down year. You're right, he probably wont be available tomorrow.
  7. I hope not. He strikes out too much and is way too streaky (even for the Cubs).
  8. I say Baker. GM's dont have time to make up lineups nor would they. That's the manager's job.
  9. Must be a groin issue. I saw him wince on his way back from running/hjogging to first... Lets see what they say. Edit: or its a foot problem. lol
  10. Bringing in the bullpen may make it a bigger deficit. Our middle relief is unpredictable.
  11. Kerry is pitching well and our bullpen is suspect.
  12. Ugh! Murton could have struck out but I do understand the move. Holly's been hot plus they were hoping for the Leftie advantage... At least that's what I say to comfort myself.
  13. Finally a HIT for Neifi! Come on Matt! Edit: Holly PHs
  14. I disagree (or were you being sarcastic?) The Cubs need to score more than 1 run. They had that chance in the last inning but didnt cash it in...
  15. 73 pitches for Woody and 2 ER. He's pitching fine so why do I feel bad? Oh yeah, the Cubs barely ever give him any run support!
  16. No, I dont think any were wildly out of the zone but he did swing at two that seemed to be outside to me.
  17. Olsen was worrying too much about Hairston and threw the ball away.
  18. LOL, I'm young and usually alert but not that time.
