Someone's being a wee bit sensitive -- wait am I being sexist there? I thought you were old cause I thought I saw you post something in a thread about how you had been a fan ___ so many years and so forth. I CAN BE PESSIMISTIC WHEN THEY HAVENT WON IN 100 YEARS! Yes, Im freakin shouting. I dont like losing whether Im actually involved or not. Thats why I and others have been successful in sports. You may be satisfied with .500. Im not. Whatever, you are not the only long suffering fan. It just gets aggravating to see the constant nay saying. I have eyes and I see all the flaws. You were advocating that we all turn off the game. If you hate the team that much its best not to watch, you'll be happier. This team is far from perfect but they still have a chance to win.

Not all of us are guys and we're watching because its the Cubs... Sorry about assuming everyone was a guy...but 99% of the board are guys so its not something you should be insulted by. No offense, but how old are you? Are you one of those old time cubs fans who are accustomed to losing?..Winning is everything. No, Im not a bandwagon fan. In fact, I was supposed to be raised a Yankees fan, but I do have the right to bitch and moan when a team if completely incompetent. This team is not fun to watch, not just this game, but in general. What makes you think I'm old now that you know I'm a woman? I get upset up with the Cubs daily but I don't understand having no optimism. This team is 2.5 years removed from 90+ losses now all of a sudden the fans act like every little thing must be right. You can "bitch" all you like on bad plays but lets not live and die on every pitch.

I don't think so. I'm feeling the false hope of the Cubs scoring 5 runs this inning. So does Baker stick with JW, or bring in Rusch? Are you kidding? JW goes back out (that's what I would do). 3 runs at this point of the game is not huge. He has time to regain his composure. He has only 37 pitches.

I don't believe ive ever uttered that statement. However theres not alot of reason to be entirely optimistic right now. The Cubs are barely treading water, and with a 40% DLee we're in DEEP trouble. As I type this DLee botches a play. D Lee didnt botch that play. the Cubs are lucky he got to that ball instead of it going down the line. JW should have been at first to accept the throw. I don't think we only have 40% Lee either.
