I thought Lawton would have worked out in a Cubs uniform. Hopefully we sign Giles instead next season, and pick up Johnny Damon. Lawton's defense and offense aren't worth 9 mill.

Don't worry. Come spring training, and the first half of the 2006 season, everyone will be here. Hopefully the Cobs won't be 15 games behind at the All Star break. Then we'll have company in the second half.

Corey gets criticized for blowing it every single game. I guarentee he'll blow it again tonight. If he doesen't, I'll put "CaliforniaRaisen is God" in my sig. Yesterday he cost us 2 runs. So far he's costed us 1 today.

I'm sorry guys, maybe I am saying this in the heat of the moment, but its EXACTLY that. We have to win every game from here on out. If you cannot lift the ball to the outfield, ever, then you simply do not belong playing in the MLB. Patterson has done *nothing* to help the team this season. He's cost us 3 runs in the past 2 games. Countless more during the season. I do not want him near this team in 2006

Corey Patterson is absolutely terrible. Please DFA him. Hes so so so bad. Strikes out a ton, strands runners at every base, terrible baserunner blunders.

The Cubs, NEED another starter in the rotation. We have to get one in the offseason. Rusch is career journeyman/bullpen/fodder. Hes not very good.

Pujols chokes it in the 9th with a runner on first and third with one out. Shallow pop up, runner does not advance. Giants still up by one, with 2 outs left in the ninth. -
