you are 100% correct in my book....if he really wanted to be closer to home he would have taken less money to go play in tampa....i think if a japanese team would have given him 11 million he would be playing over there -
if he is indeed a backup....why are they paying 2.5 a year.....seems pretty expensive for a backup middle infielder

What are you talking about. He is the 2nd best offensive catcher in the majors and quite possibly the 2nd worst defensive catcher

And in Dusty's mind, Cedeno doesn't exist. How could they have had discussions to bring Cedeno up and not play him? What is the purpose of him being called up? well they need neifi in for his defence :D

barring an unbelievable rally in the last few innings here...you would have to think that hendry would realize if they want to compete for the wildcard some changes have to happen to get some offense
