    I'm sure it is-they've been giving him 5 days off between every start, and so this one is no different from the last couple times. Plus, do you really think they'd keep him from starting yesterday because the Royals had a radio broadcast? I doubt they look at if an opposing team has a radio broadcast when making pitching decisions. I just thought it suspicious they scheduled him on a day with no radio or TV, but if they're starting him every 5th day, then my suspicions are unfounded.

    I just worry about Murton hitting into too many double plays with his high GB%.

    Duh, mean pitchers have mad skillz. If you want to win, you gotta get ANGRY. Look at all the successful angry pitchers like Farnsworth and Sisco. Or all the unsuccessful non-angry pitchers like Greg Maddux. DUH GUYS. If you wanna be a good pitcher, you gotta be a JERK.

    I guess if they score like 23 runs off of him, he could still finish. Big Z and Lilly let their pitchcounts limit them, so I see Rich Hill as the only clear choice.

    I think Big C is just rather streaky, and needs to develop some consistency. And I also think that he still has a chance to play as an everyday SS, if not this year or on this team.

    For me it was 11th in my 14-team league(pick 141), 12th in my 12-team league(pick 142). Good call with the number of teams. 7 - 14 teams 13 - 10 teams 7 - 14 teams 8 - 16 teams

    Granted, Theriot probably outplayed himself a little last year, but still, in 134 AB's last season for the Cubbies, he had 17 XBH's, to Eckstein's 21 XBH's... in 500 AB's. I think that suggest far better upside than 'Eckstein-like' production. As far as plate discipline goes, Eckstein doesn't have it. 31 walks in 500 AB's to Theriot's 17 in 134. Yeah but they're both SCRAPPY.

    I hope you're quoting something assinine that the royals broadcasters said, cause that is the worst insult you could ever level on Theriot. I hate that guy (Eckstein). Definitely the Royals announcers. Intangibles speech about winners.
