I am with you completely. If Jake is on it won't matter. If he is off, the hits seem to all be three run homers after two walks.

The NLCS games will be starting around 7pm central time regardless if it is Washington or LA. Most likely, unless the Red Sox come back and win the DS; they'd probably get a few primetime slots. Go Indians. Boston is a big sports town but a tiny market. 650K population vs all of Chicago and the rest of the country wanting to see the Cubs either make the world series or go down in flames.

The key to this game still is that fact that the Giants lineup sucks balls. I don't care how good Bumgarner is but if you can't score you can't win.

Very weird camera angles for a lot of the game. Like it was oddly elevated behind the pitcher. For better illustration, it feels like this is how it was set up last night: http://i.imgur.com/JsZ3JW4.png They said on the radio that it is on top of the scoreboard. They also said that Fox and ESPN have done this the last three times to Wrigley.

I'm a little worried that this is what I'm going to have to do. I have MLB.tv and a cable login, but not one of the providers doing MLB Network streaming. I've had mixed success using a VPN to tell MLB.tv I'm somewhere else, thankfully the early game should be a good guinea pig to test on. See my post above. unlocator.com I've used it all season for Cubs games when they are in Cincy/Atlanta because of blackouts. I've also used it for the playoffs last year and this year so far. It's 5 bucks for the month and it works. Not sure it will be necessary. I was able to watch the MLB network games on my phone so far. The only issue you might have is Chicago. Also, if you have any kind of cable I think they are offering MLB network for free during the playoffs.
