    Clay Rapada is coming in the 7th inning for the Jaxx with 2 outs. Kind of weird to see a closer in there that early.

    EPatt is 0/3 today with a K. Walker tried for his 2nd steal but was gunned down to end the inning.

    that would've been extremely ironic :lol: Ron's right though, 3 runs should be enough based on how the Jaxx pitching staff has pitched this year up to this point. Let's hope they can string together a few more hits and runs though to pad the insurance.

    I only listened to the Daytona game for the 1st inning (listening to the Jaxx game right now) but apparently, Hagerty was lifted after only 1 1/3 IP. His final line: 3 runs allowed, 1 earned, 1 hit, 2 K's, 2 HBP's, and the big one 4 BB's. I was hoping he would rebound from his rough first start, but he had absolutely no control today. Daytona down 3-0, Peoria is scoreless, Jaxx still lead 1-0.

    Hagerty had a pretty rough and long first inning as he allowed 3 runs, only 1 of them was earned though. 2 walks and 2 K's also for Luke. Hoffpauir hits a monstrous HR and the Jaxx take a 1-0 lead in the 2nd!

    fat lady is singing now. just like last year, we can compete against the Cardinals, but then struggle against the Reds. We really need to get 2 of 3 from the Pirates this weekend.
