    pretty smart decision to do this. Miller probably won't be back until June anyway and leaving Lee on the 15 day DL makes sense because there's that chance that his injury can heal faster than what is anticipated.

    Iowa was one out away from winning and the Isotopes get two 2-out singles and then a game winning 2 run RBI double to end it. Awful job by Andy Shipman.

    Hill is done as he was lifted for McGehee in the top of the 7th. Iowa up 4-2 now as Ojeda had an RBI single scoring Sing. After Soto singled sending Ojeda to 3rd, Ojeda scored on a wild pitch making it 4-2.

    Daytona wins 3-1! Grant Johnson pitched 7 innings of 4 hit ball, with 0 BB's and 4 K's. Very solid outing tonight from Grant.

    Prior has started 48 games over the last two years. He's missed a lot of starts. Maybe around 16 or so? Miguel Cabrera has missed a grand total of 6 games over the last two years. Prospect-wise, Hanley and Pie are right around the same (top 20-30 prospect in the game), but Cabrera is Pujols II... while Prior certainly has that type of potential (to be one of the best players of this era), he is way too big of a question mark. I really don't think the Cubs have what it takes to get Cabrera. You're looking at a team like the Diamondbacks or the Angels with absolutely loaded systems if you wanna see a team make a run at Miguel. What about Prior and Guzman or Hill for Teixeira? Would Texas go for it? what are we going to do when Lee comes back? It's not like he has a career ending injury.

    i do like Brandon and he had a great ST, but he has struggled so far in AAA. I think promoting him to the big league club would be a bit too soon IMO. i hope you are right about Neifi's PT.

    yeah i agree, i really don't think Hendry is going to make a deal for a guy that will only play 2 months before going to the bench. I fear that I'll see way too much Neifi in the next 2 months... this really sucks. a lot.

    let's win another series against the Cards. A sweep on the road would be tremendous, but I am thinking realistically and I believe we can get 2 of 3 from the Redbirds. Go Cubs!
