... RE "the beer sucks" This is going to sound harsh, but I think he's right. I recently went to a Tigers/Angels game and the beer was a good bit colder then anything I've had at Wrigley in a year or two. The only thing is, in Detroit, you have to go get your own beer - there are no roaming beer guys.

As long as the Tribune owns this team, they will lose. A successful season to them is a profitable one. We need an owner who will settle for nothing less then championship baseball. But still, this is the worst Cubs team in decades... the wheels have totally come off the bus and like the OP, I find myself reveling in my fan-depravity... the Cubs set new records in futility each year and if nothing else, I can point to that as my source of entertainment. Sadly though even Reds fans have more to chear about then Northsiders.
