  1. I'm waiting for the Soriano breakout game. Hopefully it is today.
  2. pobody's nerfect.
  3. Wow, we sat pretty close to each other.
  4. I have a buddy who went to Murphy's Bleachers at 6:30am this morning. That's one step further than I'm willing to take it. If I see Roast (I'll be looking for chin hair) I will loudly disparage Sammy Sosa. Maybe our respective possies will come to fist-a-cuffs.
  5. I guess we know what motivates Santana. I just lost a lot of respect for him. That quote there represents alot of things that are wrong with professional sports today. I guess we know that what motivates Santana is the same thing that motivates about 95% of people. Fixed. Why would you lose respect for Santana over this? He's not running a charity.
  6. It's currently snowing, FYI. Hope it stops soon.
  7. This is what I guessed. I'm having trouble coming to grips with the marathon that this season is going to be.
  8. Nomar was the result of a misclick, I'm embarrassed to say. I meant to grab LaRoche and I picked Johnson instead, by the time it got back to me, Nomar was the only good option left. Thanks for the ideas about who to pick up. I'm going to check it out tomorrow when I have a little bit more time. My top two picks, Soriano and Hafner, have started slow and that's hurt me I think. Glad to see all is not lost though.
  9. Miller doesn't have a lot of room for error, from what I saw. Mistakes are going to be hit and hit hard.
  10. Hey guys, first year playing fantasy baseball. When I drafted my team, I liked it, but I also thought that my impression of it was probably off because I've never played before. Well, I'm in last place by a considerable margin to start off the season and I'm wondering if it is because my team sucks, or just bad luck in the beginning of the season. Maybe some of you Guru's could help me out. Our league as a deep bench and it is a 10 team league. Categories are OPS, R, HR, RBI's, SB, ERA, WHIP, K, SV, Wins. My Team: 1B: Nomar 2B: Uggla SS: C. Guillen 3B: Rolen C: Barrett OF: Soriano OF: Bonds OF: Dye Util: Hafner BN: Ken Griffey Jr. BN: Ray Durham BN: Alou BN: Chavez BN: Huff P:Zambrano P:Carpenter (bittersweet) P:Hill P:Mariano Rivera P:Wickman P:Pettite P:Boof Bonser P:Maine P:Gil Meche P:Anthony Reyes P:Kei Igawa DL: Josh Johnson DL: Nick Johnson So what's the verdict? Did I just burn 150 bucks, anyone I can target, or should I just hold tight? Thanks in advance...
  11. Can I punch you in the bag too? Please do! I love horsing around with my iFriends.
  12. I'll also be going to the game. I'll be wearing a blue Cubs hat. If you see me, just knock my hat off.
  13. What a loser, he can only do that in April. Yeah, talk to me in October and not during these meaningless early games.
