    ditto -- don't know why, but I'm just not a fan He was basically an afterthought to everyone here before his recent starts. Maybe he's figured it out? I don't know but I think I'll need to see a little more. Not saying he can't be good, I'm just not convinced yet. If we could use Marshall as a centerpiece in a trade for Griffey Jr., I'd do it in a second.

    The thing is, if you are going to use that stat, shouldn't Rex rate high there? Everybody talks about what a winner he is, how much confidence they have in him and all this other stuff. You would think going to the super bowl despite being such a terrible QB would add something to his intangible quotient. Rexy is too busy partying to prepare for the games.

    This is from Peter King. The SI-Rex Grossman Hatred Parade Continues. I dont care that Grossman is a bear. I want him to piss all over the league, next year. I want him to go bananas. I never personally rooted for another player in any sport like I do for him now. Is he talking 27th out of all the QB's in the league? If so give me a damn break. 27th out of all starting QB's, 27/32. JP Losman ranks higher. Eli Manning, every bit the erratic young passer that Grossman is but without an NFC title ranks higher. Matt Schaub who has done absolutely nothing in this league ranks considerably higher. Jason Campbell is higher. Peter King is a moron when it comes to Rex Grossman, but he's not alone. This weekend some fool on ESPN repeatedly said a team can't win with Rex as the QB. THE FREAKING BEARS MADE THE SUPER BOWL WITH GROSSMAN AT QB. Obviously it is possible to win with him there. Vince Young, Jon Kitna and Brett Favre all have negative td/int ratios but rank in King's top 15, even though his biggest complain about Rex is his erratic turnovers. You aren't weighting things properly. Intangibles are the most important thing a QB can bring. They bring a team together.

He has Kitna (#9) higher than McNabb, Roethlisberger (#17), and a category called "intangibles." Brody Croyle has a higher "intangible" score than Grossman, Cutler, Big Ben, and Steve McNair. Seriously, that's just a horrible list. I think Grossman would be in the bottom third, honestly, but that list is a steaming pile of crap.

    BY FAR my favorite. And it's not even close. As bad as he was last year, his OPS this year is over a hundred points lower than it was in 2006. That's simply mind-boggling to me. Good thing they got him on the cheap.
