I really like what Tank is doing here. He's taking the pressure and spotlight off Rex so that he can relax. Tank's a real team player.

As we all know, the Manning, Jr. suspension was ridiculously drawn out. Hopefully the same thing happens here, if at all. As far as I can tell, the Bengals can still field a team.

Even still, it doesn't sound like the league would suspend him for any of this stuff, anytime soon.

A swat team took part in executing the search.

Search warrart at his house. Not sure what they were looking for. Not sure if he was a part of it. Local police searched it. No other information.

B&B just said they have information on this but can't disclose yet due to legal reasons. They did say that it effects his future with the team. Sounds serious, guys.

Tough call. Both have excellent matchups. The Bengals are terrible against the pass and the Skins have given up the most passing TD out of any team in the league. I have Palmer and Brees and I'm going with Brees. If I were you, I'd be hard pressed not to go with Peyton.

Just heard on 670 that Tank Johnson didn't practice, isn't on the injury report, and wouldn't talk to the media in the lockerroom today. An update is coming shortly, supposedly.

DVOA is the keyness. I think it has some problems but is a much better system than any of this other stuff. If you look, Benson has a much higher DVOA than Jones as well.

Do you have stats for number of pitches thrown per season during that era? Pitches per plate appearance have increased pretty dramatically since then. it sure doesnt sound like that is the case according to this quote from Ferguson Jenkins: "I hear in the clubhouse all the time about a pitcher having a twinge, and they go on the disabled list. What is his point? Everyone now a days is a wussy? If everyone was an ironman like back in the day people wouldn't get injured? Injuries are due to people not toughing it out? Managers are babying these guys? Circumstances have changed. Pichers are a valuable commodity and are treated as such. We know more about arm injuries and how to prevent them now. Pitchers are throwing lots of breaking pitches and are throwing harder. There is a litanty of possibly reasons for pitchers not pitching as many innings. Jenkins quote isn't one of them, imo.
