  1. Congrats to Pinto and Nolasco on being voted the best LHP and RHP respectively in the Southern League this season!
  2. D'OH!! I was so excited about Murton and Cedeno both starting, I forgot that since there's a lefty pitching, Walker must sit even though he's done better against lefties than righties this season.
  3. QUICK!!! SOMEONE GET A CAMERA!!! 4. 5, I think. I'm off to the game. Have fun everyone! I will. This will be the first game I'll get to watch on Comcast since our cable company finally decided to give it to us after telling us we got for over a year when we didn't get it.
  5. Does anyone know how many starts Maddux has left? Hopefully he'll get to 15 wins for the 18th consecutive season.
  6. Despite the Hawks losing, nice to see me pitching well. 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R ain't too shabby.
  7. Dusty, you are a complete moron. I don't care if this lineup scores 50 runs, and Neifi and Patterson each go 5 for 5 with 5 grand slams. That sill doesn't justify not playing Murton and Cedeno when you are out of contention. I repeat, Dusty, you are a complete moron.
  8. lets go back with the Koronka experience  and no im not on drugs...if were going to lose, lets lose badly. I think Koronka can pitch better than Rusch has his last 4 or so starts. Eric Milton could pitch better than Rusch. Heck, why don't we just call up Pawelek. :P
  9. The point is to see if Dusty will make some unbelievably stupid decision he hasn't already made yet. Duh.
  10. Dusty is a freaking moron. I'm sure Cedeno couldn't have hit a sac fly any better than Macias.
  11. Agreed. I'm not sure I like this "effective" Prior. I want the Prior from '03 back.
  12. I guess this means adios Nomar.
  13. Welcome to the site, Len! Glad you could join. So far we have: 1.DJaxx announcer 2.Chiefs announcer 3.Len! Now, let's get DLee to join. :P
  14. Sorry, but I don't think even a sweep would get me to start believing again.
  15. Add Koronka to the list of players to be called up. From Cubs.com.
  16. you dont know what position he plays, but you think he is MUCH better? wtg Maybe he meant he's much better at hitting.
  17. Dempster time! How about a classic Mitch Williams save today? You know, walk the bases loaded, then strike out the side.
  18. He plays 2B. I'm absolutely 110% positive.
  19. The only reason I will accept us trading Walker is if EPatt is waiting to take over. There is no other reason we should trade one of our best bats.
  20. With the team being 4 games -.500 in September after the sweep, who would believe? The 1969 Mets believed. The 1935 CUBS believed. The 1914 Braves believed. Do you ? Those teams believed. This team doesn't. Half of the players don't even look like they're trying. Is that really your assessment.... that half the players aren't trying ?? OK. I was exaggerating there, but some of the players haven't looked like they've been trying. Well.... then you should stop exagerating and start believing, no? I find it hard to believe in a team that has lost 8 in a row twice, lost 7 in a row once, is currently 5 games below .500 with 27 games to play, and is 7.5 games back in the Wild Card.
