  1. Here I go again basing my opinions on 1 game 4-5, pretty solid day for Cliff today. Can't argue that he hasn't earned another start
  2. Is Bob Sanders spot starting for Garwilly again? Can we just move along with the lost because it's gonna get confusing...
  3. 8 Cubs have a career avg above .300 against Vargas Marquis (4-12), Izturis (4-12), Floyd (3-10), Ramirez (4-10), Jones (3-9), Barrett (2-4), Murton (2-2), Cedeno (1-1)
  4. Cedeno has a HR against Vargas this year... does that mean he starts again?
  5. And Barrett should have been PHing there, not Murton...
  6. Yeah, because after all, he did so much to help us win today. This team is filled with losers. At least he was patient and hit the ball hard like he always does I understand he shouldn't have been in LF for that play but it ended up not costing us
  7. He's gonna be called out... Another new way to lose games...
  8. That's pretty much Isringhausen's MO, too. The thing is, he hasn't blown a save yet to my knowledge. He's due. *Barrett GS in April 2006*
  9. Lee hit more than 1 homer after his injury. He hit 5. I thought they were discussing Zambrano??? Who by the way, hit 2 after his injury...
  10. In that case, Jones would have probably moved to LF... Edmonds would have had an inside the park HR on that play...
  11. So it's ok for you to judge Floyd on one play but it's not ok for me to judge Murton on a small # of ABs? Floyd has never been a good defender. which is why a double switch wouldhavemade sense to get Pie in the game. Can Soriano ph today? I doubt it
  12. So it's ok for you to judge Floyd on one play but it's not ok for me to judge Murton on a small # of ABs?
  13. Well, that is the action of a normal baseball team, and the Cubs obviously don't qualify... 29 teams would be able to get in a guy from 3rd with nobody out 28 I take it you haven't had the pleasure of watching the Nationals this year. I've hated the Nationals since they ruined the only Cubs game I went to in 2006... of course Howry blew it...

  15. Why did we pay Howry all that money again???
  16. Now how about an optimistic prediction: Pie walkoff HR off Isringhausen
  17. What do you expect? This has been a rant before and I don't wanna get in a huge argument but I think people are more negative then they need to be. Obviously the Cubs are really frustrating to watch, but it's overly negative here, IMO.
