  1. I just got home... did this game start under a delay or something?
  2. http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/rosenblog/2008/04/good-sox-bad-so.html LOL @ The O's
  3. Didn't he have 1 in his whole Cub career?
  4. I hope Soto doesn't start slumping. Cedeno rocks.
  5. He's hitting for no power, but he's been solid otherwise. I bet he hits a fair amount when it's all said and done. That PH double in his first AB nearly was a HR (I think on April 1), and he's had some deep drives.
  6. Ugly looking forecast for this one, the bad feeling of last night's loss may last one more day...
  7. http://media.putfile.com/Unbelievable-catch-by-Reed-Johnson
  8. How about that last series of the year @ Milwaukee? Big break for the Cubs
  9. By the way, that was Wil Nieves' first career HR.
  10. Call it an overreaction, as most of you will but the bullpen will be the reason the Cubs fail to win it all in 2008, if such a failure takes place. Lets evaluate: Kevin Hart: He hasn't looked all that bad, but he's young and doesn't respond well to pressure. Bob Howry: All he throws is fastballs. Easy to predict. He'll look good against some bad teams, and get clobbered by most good ones. Jon Lieber: Primary the long relief guy, I don't worry too much about him. Carlos Marmol: I fear our best reliever is going to be overused. Sean Marshall: We've seen him have problems with control in the past. He's basically the LOOGY, so he won't face many batters anyway. Kerry Wood: Not worried a whole lot about him, but one injury and.... Michael Wuertz: Just plain bad Hopefully we get enough offense this season to keep the bullpen out of close games, but that's basically impossible. I'll gladly eat crow if I'm wrong.
  11. Johnson, Theriot, and Fukudome are the only guys that should be leading off.
  12. Took a rare loss today so let's reflect on the great start we've had...
  13. He obviously has no spot on this team and he has looked horrible this year, unable to get the ball out of the infield. Trade him before he becomes a complete bust and no one wants the guy. I think Matt has some solid potential, but his shot isn't going to come with the Cubs.
  14. Thanks to BCVM22 for the Pat and Ron audio... http://media.putfile.com/Aramis-Ramirez-2R-HR-42308
  15. Yea nice changeup that was almost hit out of the park  These announcers suck
  16. It was his worst, by far If someone can explain his approach, I'd love to hear it. He'd tried to put the ball in play and swung at 2 unhittable pitches. Not much to explain.
  17. UNFREAKINREAL that was the last chance they were gonna get
  18. Mark... remember the NLDS last year... Game 3? DON'T DO THAT
