Fred and erik have 7 this year. 2007 brought us UMFan with 8 and Davhern, Southpaw and Soccer10k with 7 In 2006, the leader was apparently me...with 4. Though we obviously quit on the season. :oops: Looks like the most in 2005 was 5 (Roast, CT, Tree and bukie). 2004 was the year of Bhogg the Game Thread Pimp. The totals you're looking at for 2006 are only through 08 Aug of that year. Everybody did quit on the season. Although I started nearly all the game threads after that point..... If we didn't have an 8 game handicap, I might consider them a threat. I've seen 8 game leads disappear far to often to be comfortable though. Actually the Brewers can tell us a thing or two about 8 games leads that evaporate 8-) That's because the Brewers had one formidable starter that's very, very prone to injury. I am not worried about the Reds.

I honestly don't think Edmonds is done. I really think that he was just rusty and is starting to heat up. Also, I actually buy the fact that he has adjusted his approach and I don't mind him playing CF for the Cubs. -

Seriously, think about it - if I told you before the start of the season that on May 31st, the Cubs would have a 7.5 game lead over Milwaukee, you'd think we'd be running away with the divsion. Because they should be. St. Louis should be a .500 club, not a .600 one. IMO, they shouldn't even be at .500
