According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com, free agent left-hander Noah Lowry will hold a private workout for interested teams next Tuesday in Phoenix. About 15 teams are expected to be in attendance, including the Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Mariners, Cubs, Nationals and Mets. Lowry, 29, hasn't thrown a pitch in the majors since 2007 due to thoracic outlet syndrome, but had a 4.03 ERA from 2003-2007 with San Francisco. Lowry is looking for an incentive-laden one-year deal before jumping back into free agency next winter.
