  1. Not sure what you're talking about, Valbuena rakes against LHP
  2. Yeah, he's way better than that bum Soto, AMIRITE. Soto's been frustrating for a while, obviously. But Valbuena's always hitting the ball hard, he's hit lefties well, and has shown surprising power, even to the opposite field. I like him a lot more than Stewart so far. I just find perception funny. Yeah, Soto had a monstrously bad start to the year, but to see you griping about Soto one page and then fawning over Luis Valbuena the next is pretty funny. And Valbuena's hit lefties well? .231 .268 .385 .653 .262 for his career and interestingly his 2010 splits: vs. RHP: .169 vs. LHP: .318

  4. How does that not drop in the basket?! I really like Valbuena
  5. I hate the Marlins... Carlos Lee just makes it worse
  6. I don't know if anyone is still watching but I HATE Rizzo swinging there on 3-1
  7. Barney has hit more deep flyballs than Soto all year long
  8. that's probably enough for the Marlins... the Cubs just can't win games when they fall behind significantly.
  9. Mike Trout just hit a BOMB opposite field off of Jacob Turner.
  10. I think an impact starter would go a longer way than Justin Upton for the Pirates to make the playoffs this year.
  11. Line drive double plays, flyballs to the warning track, and liners back to the mound... I think it's pretty clear that Carlos Marmol should not be closing games anymore, but he's getting it done somehow.
  12. F it... let's get the 2nd WC!! There's a lot of time left
  13. We won the last game before the break. 18 to go
  14. Brenly and Grace switched booths for the inning... pretty cool!
  15. Wait, what? These were his numbers going in to today over the last 4 weeks: .233 .317 .384 .701 Do you people really think he's been on some kind of gigantic hot streak? He's been Soriano this year. If he was "Soriano" in April, he'd be leading the majors in HRs right now. He's had much hotter stretches in his Cubs career. However, he's never had such a broad stretch of consistent power as a Cub that I can remember from May to the present.
