Nope, I’ll take the win and eat crow every time over back-patting. But its obvious that this team doesn’t have that “we never quit” spirit. Most of the time when they get down, they don’t come back. And in a close game late, especially on the road, it’s like everyone is waiting for the shoe to drop. You just get the impression the players feel the same way. Please back this up with a single piece of actual evidence. If not, at least admit that this is just a pure meatball take. I can’t find a site that shows records “when trailing after __” but we have to have an abysmal record when trailing after 5,6,7 innings in comparison to previous years (yes, I know most means will have a bad record when trailing in the late innings). I could be wrong, but it seems impossible that we have more than 2 or 3 wins when we fall behind in games even through 4 or 5 innings.
