This is baseball and it is a crapshoot. It’s never okay to root for your team to miss the playoffs I think he'd tell you he was posting while emotional. Sometimes emotional posting leads to people saying things they don't really mean. If I didn’t post while emotional, I wouldn’t post at all.

Question: Why would you root for then to miss the playoffs? Like, how does that help next season? The amount of extra rest wouldn't be that great. Just to avoid heartbreak, I guess? But yeah, you’re right of course.

I don’t think it’s that insane to root for this team to miss the playoffs at this point. Say “crapshoot” all you want, this bullpen was barely holding up with Strop healthy. You can completely forget about it now.

All Contreras does is hit ground balls and strike out. Inexcusable decision to have him hit there. There’s really nothing more to it.
