  1. What does that even mean? Meaning I thought we were going to blow it. CUBS WIN!!!! Glad my feelings where ill-advised!
  2. I hate to say it but I'm not feeling good about this game.
  3. How many DP's did we hit into this series? It's gotta be a trillion.
  4. Gotta be Z's last inning. He's at 91 pitches.
  5. When your lead shrinks from 3 runs to 2 runs it's always nice to answer with more runs.
  6. you don't have to like him, but since he's the best shortstop in the organization, you probably should at least accept him. He's like that dorky Baldwin brother who isn't as good-looking or successful and never answers my letters, but he's still a Baldwin, damn it! What an odd analogy? Family Guy quote. I see

  8. Should Lou take DLEE out of the 3-hole spot?
  9. If I remember right, he had a awful August last year and turned it around in September.
  10. His wrist was fine in the first month... Then it's just totally unacceptable that he can't make an adjustment. I just don't understand how you don't try something different. The only thing he looks like he's trying is to be less open in his stance.....surely that was what gave him the biggest success in the first place? i cringe even watching his cuts in the on deck circle something isn't right....... I'm sure that he's tried to make adjustments, subtle or not. From all accounts, Derrek is an extremely hard working player. It's possible the ability is just not there anymore. I mean to be honest, an .825 OPS isn't completely off his career numbers not including his 1 year spike in 2005 and his above average (weighted by his OBP) 2007. The ground balls are a bit alarming. It seems like he's unable to put the ball in the air.
  11. At least we scored 1, but it's still a bummer.
  12. It's becoming comical and predictable with Lee.
