  1. I bet I could go 20 yrs. without shaving and still not have a beard. Although I shave every day or I look like crap.
  2. I don't believe in razors. Haven't used one in 20 years !! I've met Fred and can verify this. I believe I've seen is picture in the picture thread. Doesn't he have a long white beard?
  3. Probably his wife after he mentioned what kind of deal Andre Kirilenko and his wife have.

    Giving rides.

I wasn't in my truck. I was standing on the passengers side putting my things in it.

For starters, who the heck needs to go to Wal-Mart at 4:00am? :) I like to go when there is not a crowd and I don't have to wait in line.
  6. I went to Wal-Mart this morning around 4:00 a.m. When I was walking to my truck a guy approached me and asked me if I'd give him a ride down the road about a mile. He told me he would ride in the back of my truck if I wanted him to. I told him I had a gun under my seat and I'd just shoot him if he tried anything. So he got in and I gave him a ride to a gas station. He asked me for $18 bucks, but I told him all I had was credit. What would you have done?

    Baldelli?

Is he going to be worth picking up this year?
  8. Has anybody seen Kruk lately. He looks like he just got out of bed.
  9. Me too. They would be really awesome if Bass wouldn't have went pro. He admitted to 'Big Baby' Davis that he made a mistake by entering the draft.
  10. He's on my team too.
  11. Sorry if it's already been discussed. per ESPNEWS.
  12. You mean to tell me ULM hasn't won a game. That's pathetic. I went to the Dixie Majors World Series in Monroe last year to see my cousin pitch the final game. There were a few players on the team that were committed to ULM, and I didn't really think they were that impressive. I guess that explains their winless record.
  13. I will refuse to watch anything that supports Barry Bonds. I will never like him no matter what he does.
  14. What, there aren't any hills in Louisiana? I'm not a hillbilly, redneck, or coon-ass. My brother and dad could probably qualify as rednecks though.

    Jacque on ESPN

How is this a transaction? The only transaction is someone moving it to this forum.
  16. Did anybody see Jones on 4 qtrs?
  17. Woah, jeez man, we dont even know for sure if this is true. Its second hand questionable information at best. Exactly. It's not like this was reported in Sports Illustrated like Rocker's comments. Ryan didn't say it in an interview. I'm not saying he didn't say it but I'm not saying that he said it. I wouldn't get too worked up over this. Are you saying Sports Illustrated is better than me?
  18. Well, your only exceptional offensive players at their positions are A-rod and Bonds if hes healthy and age doesn't catch up to him. On my first team Helton, Figgins, Wright, Abreu, and possibly Lopez could be considered top 5 at their respective positions, and my other players are pretty well rounded. On my second team the same can be said of Pujols, Figgins, and possibly Berkman and Lopez, with more power than my first team but less speed. Pitching wise you probably beat both my staffs. Almost everyone expects Carpenter to regress somewhat but he'll still be good, and Peavy is a stud. Your relief pitching is somewhat shaky, relying on two guys who were hurt last year, though I do expect Gagne, if healthy, to dominate. You also get more wins from your other pitchers. The top two on my first team are very injury prone but could be dang good if healthy. On my second team I think Oswalt and Big Z could be just as good as Carpenter and Peavy. Relief wise on my teams, I tried to get one young reliable guy, one guy who could be good if healthy (Benitez, like you), and one young unknown. All in all, while I might be a little biased, I feel both my teams are more well rounded than yours. I think both of my offenses beat your offense hands down, while your pitching staff edges mine, but not by as large of a gap as the offense. Hence, the "I think both my teams could take yours" quote. Have you looked at Helton's #s from last season. He didn't even start on anyone's team in our league the second half of last season. Wow, he had a great second half. Whoever had him and didn't start him is not too smart. That's why I edited my comment.

    Closers

Who are some guys that will close for there teams this year that my not have been picked in a draft? All of the well-known closers were obviously taken, but I was wondering who are some guys that may go overlooked.

  21. man speaks the truth, hopefully it's just a s.t./ picture day thing. high socks = awsome / should be mandatory. Yeah, Neifi wears high socks.
  22. B.J. Ryan is from Shreveport, and he was in town a few weeks ago. While he was here one of my friends hung out with him a few times. Ryan said a few things I found interesting. He said he really wanted to go to Atl. , but he obviously couldn't pass up that much money. He also said next time he faced Edgar Renteria he "was going to drill that n-word in the ear." I guess it's good they're in seperate leagues this year. Does anyone know why he has something against Renteria?
