  2. Yep, it's the Hall of FAME. Ozzie Smith wasn't very good, but he was famous :) What? http://www.firejoemorgan.com/2007/07/hall-of-very-weird.html
  3. It's not the Hall of Very Good.
  4. <<<< :hello:
  5. Dr. Andrews has done stories and interviews before. I've read at least one of them. For example, this is a very long article all about Andrews, with plenty of quotes and a few stories spread in there: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=3024046 Yeah, he was featured in a column in ESPN the Magazine in the past month. A column, or one of those short "7 things you should know" about him features. "7 things you should know". I just read it when I was at the doctors office.
  6. Damnit. I didn't get that with the Astros telecast! :x
  7. Astro announcers are talking about Henry Blanco's nickname being Hank White. Announcer A "His name in the Cubs clubhouse is Hank White". Announcer B "You made that up". A "I wish I did. lol"
  8. that's basically what the Houston announcers were saying.
  9. Erstad with unnecessary jumping into the Ivy.
  10. Rich needs to teach Theriot how to bunt
  11. I just realized this games is on FSN Houston.
  12. I think you have to use the DFA method and expose him to waivers in order to get him to the minors. Eyre will be traded, probably for a PTBNL in the next 10 days. If not, somebody will claim him in the waiver process. Zero chance anyone claims Scott Eyre off waivers. Why? A left-handed pitcher with 2 months left on his deal, and has possibilities of helping a ballclub. There are several bullpen starved teams who would make a claim. There's very little risk in that move for them. Cause he sucks? Not too many teams are going to be looking for a relief pitcher sporting a 1.68 WHIP this year and a 1.80 WHIP last year. Eyre should have been dumped a long time ago. The only reason he was still around was because he was a LHP. Ever heard of Jeff Fassero?
  13. You're joking, right. Green font = Sarcasm I'm on my laptop. I couldn't tell it was green with the angle I had my screen.
  14. If the Cubs can somehow win the World Series this year, it will be their first time since 1908

  16. This why Lou is so tempted to go to the regulars. No consistency from the BP often. That HR is meaningless. With a 7-1 lead you just go out and pound the zone.
  17. Sutcliffe is hard to listen to.
  18. I hate Ryne Sandberg.
  19. A gold glove winning SS who could really catch the ball.
  20. Actually if it got infected and into his arm and antibiotics didn't work he would probably get sepsis and likely die.
