  1. I'm the grammar Mod. I thought everyone knew that. :?
  2. Not sure where you went to school, but did they teach reading? It say the ORIOLES are close to signing him. Don't tell me you've never missed something by reading over an article too quickly. I bet you have sometime in your life, and that would make you a hypocrite. I misread, it had marlins buy his name and I read over it. So sue me. Sorry, I guess I was a little harsh.
  3. I probably should have, but I couldn't resist.

  5. Sorry if this has already been posted http://fantasybaseball.rotoworld.com/content/home_mlb.asp?sport=MLB Looks like Morris may stay put.
  6. The problem I have with including Williams in some of these deals now is the Cubs are not well off in the starting pitching department. While they used to have the ability to trade from that strength, they've gotten rid of at least 2 fallback options for the starting staff already. Right now Williams is the 4th best starting option on the team. Get rid of him, and Hill takes that spot, but the Cubs probably give it to Rusch. I don't want Rusch in the 5th hole, let alone the 4th. After trading Jerome they'd be stuck with Rusch, possibly for an entire season. And we've seen this organization stick with a terrible starter for an entire season even when better options were available. After a series of trades, there might not be any better options. Shawn Estes had an awesome final game.
  7. I've gotta work, but there is no snow where I am....just cold air.
  8. Hell, I'd be willing to throw in J Hairston Jr if that's what it'd take to put them over the top, eh? If only we still had Macias to throw in.

Not saying much... Something about those redheads.
  10. He will hit .300/.350/.450. I GUARANTEE it. Murton does not need to be platooned with ANYBODY. In at around 160 AB last year he had an OBP above .380 and 7 HR. I think it is very likely he can hit atleast .350 OBP and produce 20 HR or more. I'll bank my name on this. Well, if you gurantee it I guess we have nothing to worry about.
  11. I feel so sorry for them.
  12. My vote is for Kyle Orton........oh wait, he's the other teams defensive MVP
  13. I hate both, but I think I hate USC more. Thus my reasoning for voting Texas by less than 7

I saw her on sportscenter about 2 days ago.
  16. Yes, he was their closer for a while. had a record 42 saves for them in 2000.
  17. I think that's a very good idea. I think he made $3.5M last year - would you be willing to come up another million from your figure? Do you think Wickman would play for that. He had a pretty decent year.
  18. Yeah - I think they'll be adding seats down the line in a year or two, taking the bullpen out altogether. The bad thing about that statement is I don't even think you're joking.
  19. Mark Wohlers, John Rocker, Rick Ankiel
  20. I think the title of this thread should be "What About Bob?"
  21. How will that be different from every other day? I think I am pretty balllanced. What really erks me though are those witty one word response to my posts that some people make. That and the eye roll emoticon. I can't stand that one. whatever
  22. The Cubs are interested in Pierre, Wilkerson, Lugo, and Gathright.
  23. Maybe he'll do better being back in the A.L.
