    Has anyone heard anything about Dempster and his family health issues? I think I read (on BCB?) that Dempster's daughter has been in the ICU since her birth. I'm wondering if that hasn't affected him this year. I don't think I've seen that anywhere else before.

    Trib's Sullivan story is calling 4-6 weeks. I'd be 'happy' with that timeframe.

    If I'm correct with this, Ramirez has been 'worth' just about a win per month over replacement the past 3 years. The Cubs might survive the loss of a couple wins, but we're already in a hole and the Cards and Brewers appear better than advertised. Oh, and I'm not sure we have a replacement level starter on the 40 man roster. Not good.
