Leave it to rotoworld to put everything in perspective. Which version of Theriot are we gonna get the rest of the way? Do you really wanna risk getting the one from earlier this season? And you want Ronny Cedeno is start with his .150 average? I think I stated quite clearly before that we should make a move for a guy like Renteria. You do realize that the Braves are in the same playoff hunt as the Cubs? They're no way they're going to give the Cubs Renteria for basically prospects. Maybe if the Cubs were in the AL. Did you even bother reading my earlier post? JS absolutely loves Yunel Escobar, and has been offering up Edgar Renteria in deals for starting pitchers like Jon Garland because he feels comfortable with what he has to cover SS. Atlanta has been talking to Cinci trying to get Arroyo. I think that's the perfect situation for a three-way trade. Renteria to the Cubs, Arroyo to the Braves, and Cubs prospects to Cinci and perhaps another prospect to the Braves. Yes, I read your post. Would you want to give rid of Rich Hill for Renteria? No way, they'll take just Marshall and they aren't going to take Marquis.
