    What's so crappy about it? The only reach in my opinion is the first round pick. And our 2nd and 3rd round picks seem like that was the best choice left on the board. Our first round pick wasn't on anybody's top 200 list and I don't think Golden was the best choice in the second either. I'm ok with the catcher but our 4th round pick sounds like your average soft tossing lefty and our latest pick sounds like a poor man's Sam Fuld.

    So his highschool coach pays three months worth of rent, his highschool teachers may or may not have given him underserved grades his senior year, and an anonymous college coach says Bledsoe's coach asked for money to help with rent. And this makes Calipari scum of the earth why? Do we even know if the highschool coach ended up getting paid?

    my favorite part of that incoherent, strangely-worded piece: yeah, relax, he's just a coach, just like any other cheating coach who has had final fours at two different schools vacated. haha. as far as "throwing stones at the throne", ha. this guy has got to be a kentucky schill, because, dog, there ain't no throne to toss stones at. kentucky hasn't been to a final four in over a decade and calipari has no final fours on his resume. earlier in the "article", he weirdly defends eric bledsoe, as if anyone needs to feel sorry for a guy who will be playing in the nba and may very well get a bunch of victories vacated by the university he played at. no one is attacking eric bledsoe, he's just a basketball player, no one can blame him for taking a bunch of cash. the question is, where is the cash coming from and who paid off the high school coach? hmmm, well, my guess would be the boosters of wherever he went to school. calipari is a piece of human filth, and not because he slicks his hair back. Did we read the same article?

I'd be willing to bet that if Chalmers would've missed that three, those wins wouldn't have been taken away. Go to hell Mario Chalmers by the way.

    First, it's not like Calipari coached teams are constantly getting busted. The two violations were 12 years apart. And like i mentioned earlier, other teams are getting caught. Kansas just came off probation and several big name schools are on probation currently.

    again, you're making the argument that calipari is a collegiate head coach. like i said, that means nothing. calipari is scumbag regardless of coach k. . correction, he's coached 18 seasons at 3 schools, 2 of those schools he left on probation, working on a 3rd. still, all those amazing seasons and no final fours. he's not only a scumbag, he's an overrated scumbag. I hate your argument. Calipari is no choir boy, but the stuff Cal is getting accused of goes on everywhere. It's like hating Tiger and only Tiger because he cheated on his wife. 90% of athletes are cheating. Sorry for the weak analogy, it's all I could come up with.

    All that job leaping and he's coached at 3 schools in 23 years. I guess coach K is a scumbag too because Corey Maggette was being paid while playing at Duke? There are so many of these types of instances that your hatred of just Calipari is laughable.

    Why say this then? This combined with Nick's previous arguing that it made perfect sense for Rose to take the test in Detroit says he believes him. I've forgotten all the facts now but my point back then was the NCAA cleard Rose to play before the season started. To come back a year and a half later and declare him ineligible was wrong and dumb. And there has been zero evidence that Calipari orchestrated the whole thing.

    I have no idea if he took the test or not. Don't care really. The fact that he wasn't smart enough to pass an SAT has no effect on how much fun I had during that 2008 season. But to just assume that Cal masterminded the whole thing is a little bit of a stretch.

    I've just never understood why Calipari is the only one ever brought up when people talk about dirty coaches. They're all dirty. Calipair just happens to be more sucessful at recruiting than any other coach in the country. Did you realize that Kansas comes off probation this year? Boosters were caught giving "financial gifts" to players from 2002-2005. That span includes Williams and Self. That's not to mention the Darrell Arthur allegations of grade changing at his highschool. If Cal can get someone to take Rose's SAT surely Self can get Arthur's grades changed?
