    eh, too wild...walks killed him...he's a two pitch pitcher and much more effective for an inning or two As long as he keeps Eyre from coming in to the game, I have all kinds of man-love for him.

    He must have learned it on his own since he was in the Oriole organization the American League version of the Cubs. I think they tought good fundamentals @ LSU. Probably a good idea for us to draft more college players than high schoolers considering our lack of apparent developmental coaching ability in the minors (at least for positional talent). Damn good point, Soul. But I can't figure out why the Cubs orginization can't teach those kids to play the game right. And I'm convinced it's an orginzational thing. I was at the Tigers/Nats game last night. And the Tigers almost blew an 8 run lead (won 9-8) because they couldn't cover 1st, couldn't throw to the right base, etc. (see last World Series). Tells you something.

    don't mind if i do 8-) why do you think i noticed? Benoit should have given up more that inning. We are so inefficient in scoring runs.

    I don't know why. It's not like the Cubs have ever wasted multiple scoring opportunities and then lost the game before, right? Oh, its an easy feeling to recognize. I've felt it many many many times.

But --- if we can work it out so it happens when Pitt or Cincy is on the schedule, I'd prefer that to Milwaukee, yes. yeah...i mean you have washington and pitt the week before the all star break...ideal time Yeah that would be real good. Well, not 'real good' but you know what I mean 8-) NO NO NO. Selfishly, I have tickets to 2 of the 4 Cubs games in DC and want to see Lee play. Same here......3 of the games. RFK is so big, we could probably walk up for the rest And WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT MARSHALL?

    Cubs fans have always been spoiled with good broadcast teams (with a couple exceptions at analyst). exactly my point. I never realized as a kid how good we had it. I'm actually getting a headache listening to these jokers. If I could figure out a way to sync Pat/Ron with EI I'd be estatic. Which begs the question. MLB.TV lets us choose the radio broadcast, but not the TV broadcast. Why??

    the best thing about extra innings: -Len and Bob are WAY under-rated as announcers -the rest of the league has some seriously poor announcers. These guys are BRU-TAL.
