Thank goodness for MVP 2005! :D HAHAHA that is where i got the idea. If someone could do it. That is the only chance to break some pitching records like wins over career/ season. also nolan ryans ks. as well as many thing 100mph Fastball 70 mph knucle would mess hitters up seriously.

Yep so my final point for this post is many time we want Hendry to make a quick trade. But as his rep precedes him its always close to the deadline. Too much analysis by other gm, this is hendrys strong point.

yeah lol Ultimate pitcher is 100 mph fastball and a knuckleball needs nothing else but control and he is the best in history i guarantee it

I know, but if a GM has no confidence in his scouts, he is up a creek when dealing with Hendry. Hendry is great at trades, I wonder what will happen this year

I think this will be a fun thread, tell everyone your ideal makeup of the ultimate pitcher. The format is as follows Body Type L/R Pitch One / Mph Pitch Two / Mph Pitch three / Mph Pitch Four / Mph Pitch Five / mph here I go Body Type: Prior L/R: Lefty Pitch One / 2 seamer 96 mph Pitch Two / Curve 82 mph Pitch three / 4 Seamer 98 Pitch Four / Knuckleball 72 mph Pitch Five / Slider 90 mph Same arm slot for all pitches. This is prolly impossible, but hey you can dream right?

Pscyological thing!!! (note i think I am notorious for these types of things) Dunn drinks alot I think, from rural area bad team, he likes to relieve stress with drinks, he gained some weight. That said, if he comes to the cubs he will prolly feel he is the difference maker. And go down in history of the man who made the cubs win the WS. Lemme tell you, Dunn would improve this lineup drastically. Also another thing to consider, you get dunn and do this lineup Walker Dunn Lee Ramirez Burnitz Barrett Patterson Cedeno He will see a ton of strikes. Problem with cincy is dunn has real proven smasher behind him so they throw him junk and hope to get lucky. Put him before lee, he will see pitches.

I agree with what your saying but still, i think its something that lingers on some GM's minds. Especially with super studs (see trade to pittsburg)

This may be the wrong section, but this relates to transactions. Hendry has a track record of making good trades, but also besides Dontrelle Willis, giving the other teams crap in return. This may work against him since other teams may be hip to the idea that Hendry wont give away prospects he knows are REAL major leaguers. (this year see Cedeno) I hope me playing the devils advocate is false, but its just something I thought about a sec ago.

50 or less word prediction The cubs will start strong the second half and gain a considerable lead in the wild card (5-6 games). They will trade for a big stick, deadly offense; Nomar will come back full force. Lee and Ramirez will get hurt the end of August and they will tank the season.

If Baez replaced Remmy in the pen then its an upgrade. Remmy has got to go. Huff either is off the juice or is so unhappy playing in Tampa that he is slacking off, not sure which. -
