  1. What did he turn down last off-season? Something very similar, correct?
  2. To be fair though, Bradley was probably just going on contact for the purposes of trying to jumpstart the offense. That was just about the worst spot for the ball to be hit (aside from back to the pitcher) for that type of a play. Turned out terrible, but I'm not going to blow a gasket over it. Eh, with Quade talking to Fuku after the inning, I think Bradley going on contract with a designed play. Right, that's what I mean. Lou was trying to jumpstart the offense, thus he sent bradley on contact. Oh--right. :D

  4. Solid piece of hitting in a 3-1 count.
  5. Hit & run was on with Bradley. Those were two close pitches on 3-2. They were both up, the second one he fouled back was at, slightly above the letters. I'm not sure why Cub hitters feel compelled to swing at balls when the hit and run is on in 3-2 counts.
  6. ? CSN is running a promo with Buehrle saying his dad drops "Hawkisms" in all the time. When they are deer hunting, his dad will shoot a dear and say, "he gone."
  7. I don't think he's pissed--I believe he is an awe of the epic suck he is witnessing.
  8. Today. He was traded for Nyjer Morgan and Sean Burnett.
  9. I'm sure his performance in the White Sox game sealed his fate in the mind of Lou.
  10. Santo was stressing hardcore. I'm not sure I can take much more of his "why us?" shtick.
  11. I have seen absolutely nothing about him since going on the DL, hopefully it really was just precautionary and there isn't anything to report and not that they are trying to figure out what to do with him/what's wrong with him. He played catch the other day, before the Saturday game, IIRC. He said he felt good after.
