  1. There was a series at Wrigley in June 2004 that featured back-to-back blowouts, each team being on the receiving end once. The Cubs have hung a few crooked numbers on the board in St. Louis over the last few years.
  2. Every team needs a "b***h double"-hitting specialist. It's like how Julian Tavarez was the "late inning, go-ahead HR" specialist in the Cardinals bullpen when he was still there.
  3. Not quite as bad as Jason Varitek and his .217 average being named to the team.
  4. Aramis rocking the high socks today. Look the hell out.
  5. http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-4989068dt.jpg
  6. Aramis named as a reserve. 7 All-Stars.
  7. Braun in right field would be uglier than one of Gracie's slumpbusters. http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-4989068dt.jpg
  8. You figure Braun is probably chained to left field, so my guess is Fukudome in center and Sori moves to right.
  9. Soto, Sori and Fukudome all named as starters.
  10. Congratulations, Kosuke.
  11. FYI, Howry gave up the homer not Kerry. :) But Kerry's scoreless 9th and resulting save ensured that Pujols' 300th came in a losing effort.
