    The pitcher would not have been pinch-hit for in an AL game. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2008_08_30_minmlb_oakmlb_1&mode=wrap Yahoo's box score is simply screwed up; it's a common occurrence with their box scores, for some reason. MLB.com's box score rightfully has no mention of Ziegler.

    If you can look past Paul Lukas bitching his glasses off about seeing the Nike logo on something or teams with teal or purple as a color (not always an easy task, granted), it's often an excellent daily read for people who take note of and interest in the uniform side of the sports we watch. I read it daily.

    I would chide the Pirates for being sure to put up no fight whatsoever against the Brewers, but then I remember that they were good little doormats for a change this season and didn't give us much trouble either.

    I predict that the countless LOB earlier in the game come back to haunt us and we lose 3-1 when it could have been 5-3 or 6-3 at this point.
