    not that i would mind if we traded cedeno for tejada, as tejada is surely worth it, but we could just trade walker instead as roberts also plays short and melvin mora is sort of a utility guy who I think could play short as well btw...just so everyone knows im not insane, i realizwe that in addition to one of these player we will need to give pie and/or hill and much more. I wouldnt mind givingn both as I believe this whole offseason Hendry has been inflating the value of hill. It hink he is no better than pawalek, guzman, jerome williams and certainly has the most trade value

    Nice job, good list Players that interest me are: hitters: abreu, michaels, wilkerson, pena, bradley, manny, orlando hudson pitchers: Donnelly, Zito, Macdougal, Baez, Aaron Heilman, Chin MEing Wang, Edwin JAckson I think via trade we need to acquire at least one impact bat and 2 pitchers one for rotationa nd one for the bullpen. Most of the hitters would take top prospects except for pena, hudson, and maybe wilkerson. Assuming Zito is out of reach, Wang and JAckson seem like viable options to me. HOw much trade value does either have? Could the yankees, in desperation, take corey for wang? For the bullpen Id really like Donnelly or Macdougal. I think we need a more proven commodity than either eyre or howry

    i would trade lee and pie for miguel cabrera. Seriously though, you're never going to get a repeat of that production unless you get it from someone else. And based on his stats this year, we could probably do that

    I can see these deals happening to a lesser extent. Perhaps 100 mil was for Furcal and Soriano combined or something. For the trade, I seriously doubt cedeno being a part of it but it might make sense. That solidifies the top two spots in our order. Plus, overall, it might save us prospects as soriano looks like the alternative to pierre who would command at least one of our best pitchers. I take Pinto, Soriano, and mench over Pierre, Aardsma, and 2 other prospects

    what about getting castillo and lowell for marginal prospects and flipping lowell and walker to the twins, in dier need of offense for some young arms.

    if hes gettable i think it would be a great addition to our team. He can back up aramis on a daily basis and can be our third catcher so we can let macias go without worrying about emergency catcher situations. anyone agree?

    I liked the vernon wells idea but am also interested in a twin outfielder. Either Jaque Jones or Shannon Stewart would be great. Pluss all wed have to trade is todd walker at maybe a marginal prospect

    the first guy i would like to be traded is mitre. He seems to have reached his peak...a dissapointing one. However, i believe he does have some value throughout the league. I think we could pull off a deal maybe with seattle for gil meche who is in a similar situatiom. God that hawkins deal was a total bust for nus :wink:

    now what we do is trade them corey,walker and mitre for lewford/shannonstewart/jacquejones and lecroy/crain trhis trade gets us a very proficient starting outfielder as well as a stud reliever or swingman who provides flexibility as both a third catcher and backup 1b. ALso this would allow us to play hairston/soriano at 2nd dfa macias

    carlos lee would be a perfect addition to our team. ALso,the brwers have been good trading partners and are out of the race. He is not going to help them in the future and theyre not winning now. Any chance we swing a deal for him

    i dont like the idea of a three way for floyd. If with our package of prospects we can get soriano, i feel he is far more productive then floyd. Especially if we can get a cpatt/welly for soriano,cash, nix/delluci or we could throw in someone else for even mench. This would marginally improve our team. What would be even better is if after this trade we could walker and midlevel prospect for jacque jones or lew ford. i think the lineup of soriano at 2b nomar lee aramis burnitz in cf kevn Mench/Lew ford/David Delluci in lf Jacque Jones/lance Nix in rf Barrett is far superior to hairston walker lee arramis burnitz floyd/holly/murton nomar/nefi barrett oh yeah, dfa macias

    im hearing corey,mitre, and hill for dunn. I think this trade benefits us nicely. COrey is not working out. Gerut/hairston can play cf or burnits can with gerut in right. Lf goes to dunn. Also, mitre's development seems to have stopped, id be glad to replace him on the bigs with one of our youngsters with a higher ceiling. Hill would be hard to part with but its adam frickin dunn. I can deal.
