haha, you beat me to it...i was gonna spot start cuz i just wanted a fresh thread to get yesterday's game outta my mind....Lilly please end this losing streak.

How many games have we just flat out gave away? It's has to be at least 8 games. If we just won half of those we would be in good shape. I don't even know what to say anymore. It's the same thing year after year. hmm... i would say 4/5 Cincinnatti, 4/13 Cincinnatti, 4/18 Atlanta, 4/20 St. Louis, 4/23 Milwaukee, 4/30 Pirates, 5/8 Pirates, 5/12 Phillies all these games minus the 4/13 Cinci game the cubs were winning at some point in the seventh inning. the cinci game they had a 5-0 lead for Big Z so that counts too....the brutal part is they rallied from deficits in three of these games...so i'd say you are right on with your prediction of 8 games that the cubs flat out gave away...mostly thanks to that pre-seaason strength of theirs, bullpen pitching... :roll:
