    He also got tossed from another game in April vs. the Reds. He's channeled his frustration towards his teamates this year, and also channeled it into hitting triples and home runs :D

    Also With Nomar the starting 3B, Neifi is the only SS and I don't think Fontenot plays SS.

    The only possible thing is maybe Fontenot went home, and they didn't want to start him back up to baseball stuff after having a week or whatever off??

    I'm not so sure about that, I'm sure he's well aware with the way things work this may be his only shot at the show... Look at Crash Davis in Bull Durham he had a cup of coffe and cherished it, you think he would trade that to be part of the possibility at a AA title???? (I know it's a fictional character, but still) I still don't agree with the move and obviously Fontenot would be the best choice, but to say that Theriot wouldn't want this I think is wrong.
