  1. remember when some said this was a bad signing by Oakland? .270/.385/.534/.919 with 32 homers
  2. yeah it was.
  3. 2006 northsidebaseball.com Minor League Player of the Year Sean Gallagher Daytona Cubs/West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx September 2, 2006 hopefully he sits that next a Cy Young and World Series ring someday :D
  4. good thing Hill didn't get a lose tonight. and good for Lee
  5. ah, the Hawks game yesterday wasn't playoffs? i thought they had started already.
  6. when is the last time lee didn't hit a home run on his birthday?

  8. Rich Hill now has a better ERA than Zach Duke :)
  9. http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/gamecenter/live/MLB_20060906_PIT@CHC is working
  10. 101 through 7 for Hill, 1 more inning tops I'd say.
  11. :( get 'em next time Chiefs.
  12. Like I said above, that's what Yahoo has too. They think Bay hit a HR in the 6th.
  13. hmmm Yahoo told me that he hit a HR, but I guess he didn't. wierd.
  14. milestone - Hill's season ERA down to 5.00, quite an accomplishment with how he started the year.
  15. I'd trust this organization drafting an arm over a position player (even though Prior/Tex hasn't exactly worked out)
  16. has somebody kidnapped dusty, Murton and Theriot must be getting tired from all of that playing time.
  17. his 2nd half numbers - avg/obp/slg/ops = .323/.373/.538/.912 I don't know what the average age (for real prospects) at AAA is, but Pie is definately young for AAA.
  18. But Jerome performed so badly this year he was bumped down to mostly AAA releiving. He went from an every 5th day starter we needed to a AAA reliever in such a short time there is no way Hendry could have traded him for value. hendry can't force a team to give up a something for someone. i can guarentee that if he had been left rostered and a minor leaguer was exposed to Rule 5 and taken by another team, there would be the same number of posts "why is williams on the roster???" There are plenty of reasons to be angry and Jim Hendry, I just don't think this is one of them.
  19. hmmm Pie working with VJ in AZ, and Pie is pissed and determined to get better. Maybe this is for the better.
