  1. well that leads to a Bears/Patriots Super Bowl :D (Colts won outside in Baltimore right?)
  2. I'm pretty certain I could write an article and send it in to any publication and get it published. Here is the outline of the article that I would send in. WHY THE SAINTS WILL WIN. 1. Rex Grossman is terrible!!! 2. Destiny!!
  3. I'm a little late on this observation but... It is my firm belief that anybody that lives in Chicago and the surrounding areas and doesn't root for the Bears should be deported.
  4. thats what i was also reading right now.. i didnt understand what he meant... "i could've run for a TD" ???? If Gould missed that FG, the Seahawks could have won the game.
  5. I think/hope that since the playoff monkey is off there back these guys are go to be even more fired up for this game. They can taste Miami.
  6. ROBBIE GOULD I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. We can claim that the Cardinals didn't improve or got a little better or worse depending on your viewpoint but they will be there at the end, they always are. It's going to boil down to health, as always. If we can field a major league team for the majority of the season (meaning not throwing minor leaguers/crappy bench players into the fire for way to many games) we have a good shot at being competitive. While there is that chance we as always have a chance to be really horrible due to injuries or just crappy play. There's a lot of downers here right now, but I'm getting kind of excited for the season. Fons, Dlee, Aram all healthy and producing together could be great, add Barrett and the Big Murt hopefully continuing to rise. Looking forward to Wuertz and Wood (hopefully) being filthy in the back end. The starting pitching is muddy but hopefully this is Z's Cy Young year (after a ST extension) the next four... who knows there's always the hope that Prior shows up, the old Prior... Bring on Spring Training, though I'm fully prepared to be out of it by May.
  8. on one had that's a cool pic, but it's kind of depressing since two of them won't be playing :(
  9. Hopefully Gallagher gets in a game that airs on TV.
  10. I don't really get as riled up as some people about the HOF (who deserves it who doesn't etc.), but I've got to say emphatically no but I think the issue should die. This guy doesn't care about "not having enough information", and he isn't trying to be some anti-steroid crusader. Ripken and Gwynn are two of the most well liked and well respected baseball players of our generation. Now this no name reporter writing for a no name paper is going to have people searching out his articles. His name is going to be said on news broadcast all over the country tonight and definitely all over Sportscenter, PTI, around the Horn etc. He wants the attention and I would be surprised if he doesn't have some delusion that this will land him some sort of bigger job.
  11. I read somewhere that the Seahawks signed someone to their active roster who was working as a loan officer and was studying to be a border guard until Seattle contacted him. There's a guy that's last game had been 1/1/06 that played on Saturday, probably the same guy.
  12. Hopefully watching last years game against Carolina is part of the preparation.
  13. So it's down to Seahawks or the Giants, both teams we took care of pretty easily in the regular season (that worked out well for us last year with Carolina tough :(). Hawks didn't have Alexander either. Alexander or Barber worry me... i really miss Tommie :x Go Bears! and please please please get Ced enough carries.
  14. I'm sure it could change rather quickly, as The Riot's had 3 big league numbers already.
  15. Jon, the Devin Hester highlight reel is awesome (so far :D). I don't dislike the "Windy City Flyer" nickname, but I think Primetime would be perfect. He's got the friendship with Deon and he's been doing his dances, plus 4 out of his 6 TDs have been on Sunday or Monday Night.
  16. chicago is too cold ;)
  17. NEW YORK (1) -- Victor Zambrano, rhp. as if that trade could get any worse
  18. On the 17th? Wouldn't you have a family thing going on for the following game (Lions, I think)? Or are you celebrating early? It's with aunts and uncles and stuff.
  19. man, I don't know how much of this game I'll be able to watch. I've got a family Christmas thing :( Hopefully i'll be able to catch some. GO BEARS.
  20. sweet avatar. haren = pimp
