  1. If he keeps it up all year, I'll gladly sacrifice the black hole on my fantasy team and take credit for his down year :D
  2. And I have a feeling Maddux is the perfect kind of pitcher to dominate the Cubs.
  3. It wasn't mentioned at all at the game last night (that I heard)
  4. I hope I can catch his first AB, I have to leave for class at 1:40 at the latest. Please have a quick 1-2-3 first inning Miller.
  5. Yeah I couldn't see much of a limp at all from LF bleachers that's why I thought it was a jammed wrist or something like that.
  6. or JJ for a decent prospect. We don't need to get a reliever to replace Ohman, just bring up Cherry.
  7. He's a pretty good assistant GM of the Chicago Bulls :D
  8. One last thing about the game. One of the coolest parts for me, besides 3 homers and 12 runs :D, was watching Greg Maddux patrolling out in center field during patting practice shagging fly balls. Something about watching a future hall of famer in a position completly different from his own hearing the crack of the bat and jogging in position to make the play.
  9. OK, it was cool to yell "LOUUUUUUU" and have him come out, everybody wanted him to really go at it.
  10. Oh and was there any particular reason for the Murt/Jacque RF/LF flip flop?
  11. Was at the game so I have a few questions. After replay, did Soriano catch that ball? Looked like he obviously did live (also looked like they might have caught that guy stealing) What was wrong with Soriano? jammed a wrist? (I found out it's a hamstring)
  12. Games like this are so boring to watch. I like good pitching duels when they are deserved, but the K zone was way to wide to be fun.
  13. Why would a reporter ask him about DHing in the 2nd weak of the season anyways?
  14. He looked real good today. As long as he can keep his sinker down and that slider working he should work out well for us.
  15. Here's the trouble inning * Hernan Iribarren singles on a bunt ground ball to second baseman Gary Cates. * With Steve Moss batting, Hernan Iribarren steals (1) 2nd base, . Hernan Iribarren advances to 3rd, on throwing error by catcher Chris Robinson. * Steve Moss walks. * Brendan Katin singles on a ground ball to center fielder Chris Walker. Hernan Iribarren scores. Steve Moss to 2nd. * Adam Heether hits a ground-rule double (1) on a fly ball to left-center field. Steve Moss scores. Brendan Katin to 3rd. * Steven Sollmann out on a sacrifice fly to center fielder Chris Walker. Brendan Katin scores. * Max St. Pierre singles on a ground ball to left fielder Jake Fox. 20. Felix Pie scores.
  21. Oh My! The Peoria starters are interesting too.
  22. About Mike Browns contract status, from chicagobears.com The worry about his future with the Bears is them cutting him due to the money he makes and the ever shrinking chance he can contribute for a full season. But from all I've read from the Bears this offseason is Mike is part of their plans for next year.
