Exactly. 3 out of 4 against the Phillies sure wouldn't be bad at all. before the series, I would have been happy with a split. I'd sure like to win it now (the series).
It's nothing flashy like the season saves record, but I heard Pat mention this today on the radio. Carlos has allowed fewer than 4 hits per 9 innings pitched. No one has ever done that with a minimum of 50 innings pitched. :shock:
At the time of the trade I believe there was a lot of discussion about the fact that Wilken (I think) was scouting him heavily as a pitcher before he was drafted. so there was a belief the Cubs might want him as a pitcher.
