He entered the NFL at the hight of my obsession with sports cards. I didn't really follow college football so I had no idea who he was, but I pulled a rookie card of his that was book valued at like 60 or 70 something dollars and from then on I followed his career and become a fan. What a shame.

Wow, Fuld has played in 2 games, how do you know he's not a .550 OPS major league player that pitchers haven't figured out yet? Tuffy Rhodes hit 3 HRs on Opening Day 1994, how did that work out for him? Sam Fuld is a direct descendent of Babe Ruth.
There was no reason to keep throwing Fielder breakin balls right there. Just thrown him a fastball and challenge him to hit it I think he's shown the ability to hit it quite enough. but what would it hurt if he hit it 600 feet?
