  1. i would be cool with scoring a ton now, walking off would also be ok
  2. This may be because I only follow the Cubs, but I believe nobody wastes leadoff doubles like they do
  3. hopefully Yu got the hint that we're doing 7 strong to great innings this time through the rotation.
  4. homeboy is getting 50 dongs this year
  5. every time Javy doesn't swing at a slider away an angel gets its wings
  6. Bears got the best player... football player. [tweet] [/tweet]
  7. this is looking like a classic beast mode Kyle start
  8. It really makes no sense to not play Javy at 3rd in this configuration
  9. when your backup catcher is faster than your lead off hitter
  10. Josh Rosen kind of looks like Jared from Silicon Valley
  11. dude looks like he may have killed more people than Happ
  12. Sharma says it was the plan since yesterday that he wouldn't plan today. (KB that is)
  13. I believe I posted about it before but the part of Verducci's book that talked about the sequence of the Cubs getting those 3 runs in Game 5 is great. The gist of it is Bauer had a great curveball, KB especially couldn't do anything with it and then for whatever reason he just gave the Cubs a heavy dose a fastballs and the rest is history.
  14. Tonight is the night a starter makes an out in the 7th!
  15. haha, Javy retweeted this [tweet]https://twitter.com/BallparkVids/status/988934073472122880[/tweet]
  16. Heyward and Schwarber are reading Duke's article about Heyward on that iPad
  17. Javy would have jumped over them, right?
  18. an economical 6th and Chatwood could be the first starter to get an out in the 7th
  19. I feel like the Molina got a walk off that should have been called back as a ground rule double or foul or something like that, but the other team didn't challenge in time.
  20. Fred definitely would have had a macro for Chatwood walking someone like he did with Juan Pierre grounding out to 2nd
