Jake's ERA for the season just went north of 4.00. Still the right move to let him walk, and over the life of each contract I still think Yu will be the better signing. (edit: he ended the game/season at 3.96) Looking at his contract there is some pretty interesting scenarios depending on how his 2019 (age 33) goes. He'll be signed for 2020 at 20 million. But he has an opt out, however the Phillies can void that opt out if they pick up '21 & '22 at 20 million each.
