  1. they were balls, but for some reason the same pitches were called strikes to story
  2. well now that he got an out those outside pitchers are now strikes for some reason
  3. Harper is shown in the stands watching the game with his wife and Bryant's wife, during the blow up inning where the Rockies score 6 runs he is seen shaking his head and leaving.
  4. if the Cubs win tonight i'm going to put #beliEVEN into every post I make on this board until they are eliminated or win the World Series.
  5. if KB and Willy weren't dead that would be an exciting lineup.
  6. hopefully Kintzler is so offended by being left off the roster that he won't exercise his 5 million dollar option
  7. Hamels and Montgomery are on 2 and 1 days rest, and Mills is on 1 days rest without having gone more than 2 inings in a while.
  8. It's been a while since I've really looked at a wild card game roster, but isn't there usually an extra starter on the roster in case of 18 innings? Hendricks is there as an emergency. edit: Lester and Hendricks were on the 2015 wild card game roster
  9. taking the Cubs out of the equation (which they will probably do to themselves tonight. Where do you rank the playoff teams in terms of who you want to win? I think i'm at this right now, 1 is solid but the rest can move a couple slots either way 1. A's - i think this one is probably pretty universal here 2. Red Sox - they are the hope for what happens when freed from Chili 3. Indians - meh, let them end their drought 4. Yankees - I don't get worked up about the Yankees, they've won one title in the last 18 years and they dong the hell out of the ball, that's fun 5. Astros - I'm curious if I'm the only one that prefers any AL over any non Cubs NL team winning? Only reason they're here 6. Rockies - just want the bottom 3 to win less than them 7. Braves - no great reason, just don't want them to win 8. Dodgers - f 'em 9. Brewers - f 'em more
  10. The Chiefs were able to survive one of the Fuller's dropping a game clinching interception, lucky for them.
  11. More likely that Mack gets a sack and forced fumble this weekend.
  12. after game 3 all their starts were on 3 days rest Kluber Bauer off day Tomlin Kluber Bauer off day Tomlin Kluber
  13. Yeah using Q and Lester in relief in the NLDS hurt them in the NLCS last year... though the Cubs weren't scoring anyways so it didn't really matter.
  14. No the winner faces the Braves in the NLDS. And then the loser faces us and becomes the winner. I got where you were going after I posted it, but my post was in response to two people in a row commenting that we'd face the Dodgers after they took the lead.
  15. We *are* the loser. We face the impending winner. No the winner faces the Braves in the NLDS.
  16. you guys know we face the loser right?
  17. Dodgers just took the 2-0 lead
