  1. I'm definately on the Len BandWGN.... but I must know when him and Bob go out to dinner WHO PICKS UP THE CHECK???? Someone should honestly e-mail them and ask them that would be great!
  2. This is so awesome, I've been googling Rockford minor league affiliates for little bit now. Some notable players that have played in rockford include Delino DeShields, Mark Grudzielanek, Austin Kearns, Johnny Damon, Philip Norton (still in the Cubs system), Kirk Reuter Probably more, but these are just the guys that lead the team in some stat. http://www.mwlguide.com/cities/rockford/index.html
  3. Fair enough, and I'm man enough to admit I may have overreacted over I play I saw twice on a clip show (anddidn'tevennoticethefirsttimeitplayed) ok guys E-HUG :D
  4. Awesome... North Central Illinois party here! Oh man I didn't know Grudz played in Rockford maybe I saw him. I belive Johnny Damon played there also. But I don't remember any players, I might have some programs buried some where I should look up.
  5. I'm confused as to what exactly you are talking about
  6. So by that definition, If I had posted "Hey guys I need tickets for tomorrow's game." - that's also trolling because I'm in search of something. When I posted this, I honestly could care less if any of you Cardinals fans (who I have no problem with any of you, and enjoy your contributions) read and/or replied to it. I just wanted it out there. Like I said above the curtain call statement was a little trolly, but It was in jest. Now if I went to a Cardinal board and posted this, there would be a problem with that.
  7. Come on, it was nearly as bad as A-Rod's and the guy (A-Rod) was practically lynched for it. I'm not trying to get a rise out of anyone, I saw it on BBTN, and was surprised no one was talking about it yet because it was a real cheap play. This is a place to talk about baseball and that's what I was doing. My curtain call statement was a little rough, but you Cardinals have this mystique of playing the game the right way and all this stuff and it's stuff like this that I think should be made a bigger deal. I mean if someone on most anyother team did that, I bet it would be a much bigger deal. Heck the Juan Uribe telling Derrek Lee to stop caused a full blown yelling at each other segment on BBTN and this was glossed over.
  8. This is guarenteed victory. The prophet Vance said we wouldn't be below .500 again this season, and he's going to be at the game to make sure that doesn't happen!
  9. Yeah Marinelli is a dump, I use to go alot when I was kid and they were affiliated - Royals - Expos - Cubs. I didn't know the stadium was going to be open this year, that's awesome.
  10. I've been lucky with the Starting pitchers, I picked the first Chiefs game I went to because I was pretty sure it was going to be Gallagher, I just picked this one because of the 4th and it turns out its going to be Grant Johnson.
  11. No, the first one was down in Peoria. What kind of seats did you get. I waited a bit to long, and didn't get box seats, but I'm behind home plate not directly more towards third. In Peoria I had incredible seats, 5th row right behind where the Chiefs were dong there on deck swings.
  12. Wooo, I can't wait for the Chiefs game tomorrow. I'll be going to it as well and will be my 2nd Chief game this year!
  13. Hey RationalSoxFan. Just curious if you go to any RiverHawks games. I've been thinking about catching a game for awhile. They sound like they are a good team (for independent league) But I haven't been to a game at Marinelli since they were Affiliated with the Cubs (Rockford Cubbies). I'm from Belvidere BTW.
  14. If you wanna say that.. Er... i swear I heard that somewhere today. SORRY, The have the 2nd best record in the NL by 1 game. Still its not being swept by the Rockies/Royals/Devil Rays of the world that he made it sound like.
  15. They do have the best record in the NL...
  16. Larry Walker hit a grounder to the first base man, force at 2nd, than back to first for the double play. Jennings the pitcher was covering and as he's catcing the throw Larry Walker Pushes him in the back and he drops the ball and a runs scores. Some how the ump didn't see it I guess.... I wonder if Larry got a curtain call for that great play.
  17. well off to Atlanta with their crappy Bullpen, and motherload of rookies. I heard that Smotlz has a little injury in one of his hamstring, he says he won't miss the start but hopefully he will be off his game.
  18. A's tagged Buehrle with 14 hits, 7R, 4 earned over 6.1. I really like this A's team, I think they might be able to make a run at the wild card.
  19. Sergio is straight pimping out there right now.
  20. Cedeno - Hairston - Walker in the 12th, hopefully still tied.
  21. oh man a little premature blancogasm there, a little to hard.
