    I don't see a NYM - CHI - BOS three way... why would mets give an outfielder to Bos if they weren't getting and outfielder (Manny) back. There is no one the Cubs could trade them that would be better than Manny or Floyd.

    looks like they got the message, sound like they really messed up on Friday. Morris watched Izturis run home and threw to first, didn't cover first, messed up a squeeze, and I think this speaks for it self..... but Nunez ignored you and went 3/4

    These came from the 7/29 game recap at Cubs.com All this coming from behind definately helps with that elusive chemistry that JH was looking for at during the offseason. It sure is fun to watch our guys jumping around and excited after a walk-off win, but I think it'd be nice if they started to win a couple by 8 runs or so :twisted:

    My post about 3 up, instead of being shut down he's going to pitch in the rookie league starting Aug 15, and may make it to Mesa and pitch every 5th day to get ready for '06.

    ESPN NEWS SAYS IT HIT A ROAD BLOCK Boston didn't want to give up that many prospects + Manny, went to Mets for more prospects or something, and Mets said no. They are at a stand still now.
