    Becuase he's going to spark the Cubs to the Wild card, go undefeated in the post season, and throw a no-hitter in the World series game 5 at Wrigley to win the series. :koolaid:

    I think Jerome Williams can be the center piece in a deal for Dunn. I'd only deal him if we get another top line starter (i.e. Burnett), and are stuck with Maddux though. Williams, Welley, & a Rule V guy would be my first offer.

    This offseason I think the Cubs should get 2/3 of Burnett/BJ Ryan/Billy Wagner. Try to throw a bunch of pitching at Cincinatti for Dunn.

    I'd take Corey (a legit gold glove caliber CF) with some power and a ton of speed over Macias a hundered times over.

    To put a positive spin on it. Pie getting injured COULD turn out actually to be a good thing. With reports from as high up as Jim Hendry saying that Pie was going to be called up with Murton if he wasn't injured. This will keep him from being rushed (for the time being).

    I'm mixed on Hendry. He really turned around the Minor League system and made it respectable, and he made a bunch of good moves but there is a bunch of loose ends that he needs to fix.

    This team needs a complete overall, I don't think many other teams would stick with Dusty & his staff this long.
