I am one of the few people who believe Hendry whould stand pat & not make any moves. Nomar & Williamson coming back on Friday is as good of a trading deadline move that could be made. If Hendry went after anyone from TB or Cinn he is likely going to overpay & have to give up someone like Hill or Pie. Don't do it Jim! During the offseason the price for Dunn,Kearns,Huff & Beaz will surely go down. -
How does benching the best hitter in baseball through 100+ games help the Cubs? It doesn't. If D.Lee is ailing b/c of injury, fine, but for no other reason should he be benched.

Lee will get a day off on Monday. No need to bench this years ML's best hitter. He's really been slumping of late. A day off certainly wouldn't hurt. MONDAY!!!!

I think I might die of shock if anything resembling a positive thought ever came from you. The Cubs obviously bring you only pain and misery, so why do you bother watching them? Not all, but most people who post in the Game thread section of this forum are extreme pessimists!

Anyone who makes a trade with TB & Chuck Lamar will get fleeced. See the Kazmir for V.Zambrano deal. Even if the Astros do get Huff, which would be a nice acqusition for them, they will have to overpay big time! That is why no one wants to make deals with C.Lamar. Huff is good, but in no way is he worth the farm!

Boston annoucers just reported he'll be spending the night in the hospital for observation. On the TB broadcast, they said he was conscious & alert when he was carted off the field. -
