Just imagine the stats he and Mickey Mantle would have put up had they both not been so injury prone. I feel sorry for Griffey, but Mantle screwed himself. He ruined his own career. Most of his injuries were from boozing it up so hard. True. I just shudder to think of the numbers Mantle would have put up if he wasn't drunk half the time. MURTON!!!!!!!
