    I can't complain about either half of the 1st. One thing that drove me completely batty last year was that whenever we'd have a big inning, we'd give some runs right back. I could maybe count on one hand the number of 1-2-3 innings we had after scoring 4 or more runs in an inning.

    You bet I'll never forget that game in May of 2003 vs the Cards. Wind was blowing straight out to left. Clement was pitching. The score was 12-9 Cardinals after 4 innings and then the game got called due to rain. It set up the doubleheader in that 5-game series against the Cards in September of that year. I had always wondered what the score would have been had that game been played.

    There's no doubt he can still hit, but I'd be more confident in the range of the Harry Caray statue in LF compared to Mr. Bonds. If he comes back, I don't see it being within the NL.

    hoo boy this one is tough. cano is good and tulo is very good, but utley is great. i guess it depends on what you're playing at shortstop right now. I have Tejada at SS, so Tulo would have been redundant, although I probably could have packaged him for a #1 starter. I rejected it, anyway. It was really, really tough to reject.
